Notice on Measures to Tighten the Entry of Passengers Transiting via a Third Country to Beijing, China
2021/02/16

In order to prevent and control the cross-border spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Beijing Municipal Government has decided to take the following measures to tighten the entry of passengers from a third country transiting by direct international commercial flights to Beijing.

Only citizens of the country of departure and the locally dwelling Chinese nationals are eligible for boarding the direct international commercial flights to Beijing. For the passengers of the direct flights to Beijing, the Chinese Embassies or Consulates concerned will strictly verify the applicant's travel history and reject the issuance of International Health Code or Electronic Health Declaration Form to those who fail to meet the requirements. All passengers shall fill in the Letter of Commitment on Taking Direct Flights to Beijing before boarding.

Those who conceal information such as their travel history and health status will be held responsible for legal liabilities accordingly.

Please Check Beijing's entry regulations beforehand and plan your trip properly to avoid any inconvenience.
